Code Review first, $3,000 · 2 weeks
Finish the project that stalled. Reading, Pennsylvania.
Finish a stalled website or app, starting from an honest look at the code you already have.
I identify what works, what needs attention and what is worth keeping, then price a practical route to completion.
What’s included
A written assessment of the existing code: what works, what is broken and what is missing.
A completion plan with a price for each item, so you decide what to tackle first.
A clear case for what to reuse. A rebuild has to be justified, not assumed.
A checklist of the accounts and access involved, with help moving them into your name.

The Build Plan
$1,500 · two weeks
A written scope with a fixed price for each item, a dated timeline and what is excluded.
Ask about The Build PlanYours to keep and use with any developer. Credited against the build if we start within 60 days.
The Code Review
$3,000 · two weeks
A written assessment of existing code: what works, what does not, and a priced plan to finish it.
Ask about The Code ReviewYours to keep and use elsewhere. Credited against the build if we start within 60 days.
Build fees are one-time project costs, not a website rental. Domain renewal, hosting, payment processing and any paid tools are separate and billed to your own accounts.
What’s not included
The Code Review covers the assessment and the plan, not the repair work. I need access to the code before quoting the build, and any dispute over who owns it has to be settled first.
Before you start
- What do you need to assess an unfinished project?
The repository, a description of what was agreed, and a way to see the current build. A link and a summary are enough to start.
- Does the Code Review commit me to a rebuild?
No. It is a separate two-week assessment, and the report is yours to use with any developer. Repair or rebuild work is quoted afterwards.
You own what you pay for.
- The work
On final payment, the custom code, design, content and data are yours: assigned, not licensed.
- The accounts
Domain, hosting, email and payments are in your name and on your billing from day one. I do not resell hosting.
- The code
It lives in your repository from the first commit, so another developer can pick it up at any point.
- The data
Anything the project stores comes with a documented export you can run yourself.
- After launch
Thirty days of fixes are included for anything that misses the agreed scope. After that, support is $125 an hour with no minimum, and a site that is down gets a response the same business day.
- Reusable parts
My reusable components stay mine, with a permanent free license for you and any developer you hire. Third-party software keeps its own license.
- Ending support
There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee; either side gives thirty days’ notice. Ending support never switches your site off.
- If I am unavailable
If you cannot reach me for ten business days, give your accounts, code and notes to another developer and carry on.

Job Board is a private job-search tool I built. Its entry on the main page says what it does and what it still lacks, including automated tests. A Code Review report is written the same way.
