$1,500 – $3,000 · 2–3 weeks
Web design worth remembering. Reading, Pennsylvania.
Make your website feel as good as your business.
A distinctive, mobile-friendly site that explains your offer, shows your work and makes the next step obvious. Choose a focused one-page site or an editable business site, with your domain and hosting in your name.
What is in it
A design built around your business, with a clear path from the first impression to an enquiry, booking or other agreed action.
Responsive layouts, accessible navigation and forms tested across phone, tablet and desktop sizes.
Search foundations: descriptive page titles, useful service content, crawlable links and a sitemap. No keyword stuffing or promised rankings.
Your domain and hosting accounts, plus a handover. The CMS package includes content editing you can manage yourself; editing requirements for a one-page site are agreed in its scope.
What it costs
| The job | Price | How long |
|---|---|---|
| A one-page site | $1,500 – $3,000 | 2–3 weeks |
| A business site with a CMS you edit yourself | $4,000 – $12,000 | 4–6 weeks |
The Build Plan — $1,500, two weeks
A practical blueprint: numbered scope, a fixed price for each item, recommended technology, a dated timeline, exclusions and handover terms. Includes a one-hour walkthrough.
Ask about The Build PlanThe plan is yours to keep and use with another developer. Start a build with me within 60 days and the $1,500 is credited against the first invoice.
The Code Review — $3,000, two weeks
A written assessment of existing code: what works, what needs repair or rebuilding, and a priced completion plan. Includes a call to walk through the findings.
Ask about The Code ReviewThe review is yours to keep and use elsewhere. Start the build with me within 60 days and the $3,000 is credited against the first invoice. A rescue quote follows the review, not the other way around.
Build fees are one-time project costs, not a website rental. Domain renewal, hosting, payment processing and any paid tools are separate, billed to your accounts. Optional maintenance is separate too. The written agreement sets the scope and payment terms.
What is not in it
The build price is separate from domain renewal, hosting and any paid services you choose. Ongoing SEO campaigns, advertising, photography and standalone copywriting are separate work unless included in the scope. No developer can guarantee search positions or enquiry volume.

Before you start
- Can I update the website myself?
The business-site CMS package includes self-managed content editing. For a one-page site, we will agree what you need to change and how before quoting. Handover explains the editing workflow.
- What is included for search visibility?
Useful service content, descriptive titles, crawlable links, a sitemap and appropriate structured data are build foundations. Rankings also depend on competition, reputation and ongoing work; a build is not a promise of a search position.
Your project. Your way forward.
- You own it
On final payment, the custom code, design, content and data are yours outright—assigned, not licensed. Unfinished work remains mine until final payment. Reusable components and third-party licenses are the exceptions described below.
- The accounts will be yours from day one
Domain, hosting, DNS, analytics, email and payments will be set up in your name, on your billing, with me added where needed. You keep access when the work ends; I do not resell hosting.
- Reusable and third-party components
My reusable components remain mine, with a permanent free license for you to use, change and have another developer maintain them. Third-party software retains its own license; any relevant restrictions or paid dependencies will be identified in the plan.
- The code goes in your repository from the first commit
Your project code will be in your repository from the first commit. You can follow the changes and share the work with another developer without waiting for a final handover.
- Getting your data out
If the project holds data, it will include a documented export you can run yourself. Any limits imposed by a connected service will be explained before you buy.
- After launch
Thirty days of fixes are included for work that does not meet the agreed scope. New features are quoted separately. After that, support is $125 an hour with no minimum. Response targets: site down, same business day; other faults, one business day; changes, three business days. These are response times, not guaranteed resolution times.
- How it ends
Ongoing support has no minimum term or cancellation fee, with thirty days’ notice either way. Ending support does not disable your site. Your domain, hosting and third-party subscriptions still need to be maintained.
- If I am unavailable
There is no automatic replacement developer. Your accounts, repository and handover notes will be available to you throughout the project. If I cannot be reached for ten business days, you can give those materials to another developer and continue without waiting for me.

Everything else I build, the whole price list, the terms and the work itself are on the main page.
